Mission: The Student Veterans Organization at CGCC is a collegiate organization that exists to empower service members, veterans, and their families. It is also open to non-military students that have an interest in volunteering their time. As a key part of its design, the organization is driven to facilitate meaningful dialog between its members, fellow students, and college faculty through active collaboration, education and community service (both on-campus and in the community).
Vision: The ultimate driving force of the SVO and its aspirations lies first in its belief that every Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Coast Guardsman, and Airman has earned their right to an education. And second, that community support and service to current and former military members is essential.
